I may have ranted about this before, but it still irks me.
The mundane issue at hand is women and high heels.
Many women know how to walk in heels. The seductive sway of a talented, well balanced body on 2" or even 3" stilettos can stop traffic, even if the woman isn't all that comely. A little wiggle, a rhythmic roll of the shoulders in counterpoint, it's all part of the art of walking in heels.
Then there's the chicken-toed stomp.
I've seen women who have no business plodding along in anything higher than a ballet slipper. Feet splayed, ostensibly for balance, they storm along like troopers with only slightly less grace.
Ladies take a look at your toes the next time you put on a pair of heels. If they're pointed out at forty-five degrees away from each other then maybe you should reconsider your choice of footwear. If not for yourself, then for the rest of us.
