The country has spoken and overwhelmingly so. Yes it's going to get a little tiresome, but get fucking used to it - Obama is our next president. To any of my pro-republican peers who were offended by my comments that race is part of your vote, think again:

At Standish, Maine, a sign inside the Oak Hill General Store read: ''Osama Obama Shotgun Pool.'' Customers could sign up to bet $1 on a date when Obama would be killed. ''Stabbing, shooting, roadside bombs, they all count,'' the sign said. At the bottom of the marker board was written ''Let's hope someone wins.''

This is America. And in larger numbers than ever before the "heartland" is gearing up to make it the "hateland" of the country. If second graders are chanting assassination threats you know for damn sure they didn't think of it on their own. What's worse is that Americans are taking it out on each other, or rather on black Americans, blaming them for the success of one of "their" kind.

America is *not* lily white, or exclusively christian. Learn to deal with it.
