Cheney is an ass. Really. I don't think he has to try either - I'm betting it just comes naturally. His latest comment that "it's not accident that the United States has gone four years without a terrorist attack" is at the same level as a late-night astrology advertisement. You know I've gone four years without a toothache too - I guess I can thank him for that also. My computer has gone four years without a hard drive failure, mad props! How can you -possibly- take credit for something that -hasn't- happened unless you can provide concrete evidence of what you prevented? Who did they arrest (other than the mentally-challenged guy who was going to take out the Brooklyn Bridge with blow torches) that could pose a threat to public safety? I don't want details, I just want to know that something positive actually resulted from the presidential order to invade our privacy, tap international calls, read emails without oversight.
