Freedom to Deceive

So, if you're unhappy about the "Patriot" act don't read this. It'll only make your stomach more sour. To summarize, the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) has asked for permission to lie to people about who they are in order to get information of "possible use to national-security". Yes that's right - so someone can come up to you, citizen or non-citizen and say "Hey Bro, I'm from the local Salvation-Army I just wanted do know something...." Not good. Really really not good.

See, back in the 60s this shit was outlawed because it was used to keep tabs on anti-war protestors. It was illegal then, and guess what it's STILL illegal today, yes. But what's happened is that the government is now so very against individual rights and freedoms that agencies are grabbing for as many liberties as they can... even if it pushes the bounds of legality.

Yay. Freedom America. Freedom Republican Style - Ph33r your friends, Ph33r your neighbors. Who can you really trust any more? That cutie you picked up in the bar? No, don't say you hate taxes. Or maybe the new guy in the gym? Watch out! Don't say you like falafel!

The Boomers miss their youth, so they're bring it back to us piece by piece and our government is here to facilitate it.

I'd submit that this should have been created under "We're all goin' down" rather than "Life in Hell"...

You want descriptions? Get a dictionary. Better go waste time reading the news or play some games on Yahoo or MSN or some shit like that.
