So the Supreme Court is revisiting the Right-to-Die issue again. My take is that the heart of the matter is that fucking Nazi Ashcroft and his ultra-orthadox-god-uber-alis principles. He's basically used his tenure in the position of Attorney General to conduct an inquisition-style attack on anything he deems Unchristian (because Lord knows - the only Americans that matter are Christians).
Here's the dope - Oregon has decided, twice, that doctors should be allowed to prescribe lethal doses of medication to terminally ill patients who are sane. Now Ashcroft-the-Uber-Nazi wants to prosecute doctors that do this for the illegal use of medication. Cloaked in his religious bullshit is the greed for power, enforcing a mandate that the Federal Government should be the only authority to control drugs at all costs.
It's astonishing that due to our 'Christian' heritage you don't even own the right to terminate your own life. Talk about hypocrisy, even if they take away every physical thing a person owns, our government wants control over your dignity to die. I suppose it's ok to go out and buy a gun and shoot yourself (as long as you don't screw up and miss) but if you want a safe, tranquil and secure passage - well buddy you're not going to get any of that while the religious right has a headlock on our government.
You want descriptions? Get a dictionary. Better go waste time reading the news or play some games on Yahoo or MSN or some shit like that.
