Kill the Poor

From the Dead Kennedys "Kill the Poor"
Efficiency and progress is ours once more
Now that we have the neutron bomb
It’s nice and quick and clean and gets things done
Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home

The sun beams down on a brand new day
No more welfare tax to pay
Unsightly slums gone up in flashing light
Jobless millions whisked away
At last we have more room to play
All systems go to kill the poor tonight

Gonna
Kill kill kill kill kill the poor tonight
...

Ok well the Kennedys were wrong in one aspect, the neutron bomb is NOT the best way to kill the poor. Bombs cost money, and you know our republican government just hates to waste good armament for no reason. So, why not just do the easier thing and simply starve them to death?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Under orders to whittle agriculture spending by $3 billion, Republicans in Congress propose to slash food programs for the poor by $574 million and subsidies and conservation programs by $1 billion each, The Associated Press has learned.

Yes that's right - there's no PAC for the poor. In the past the farmers have successfully fought off any reductions to spending that goes in their pockets... but what have the poor got to spend to defend their meals? Nothing! That's right beause they're (say it with me here) POOR. So who is funding the war in Iraq? Who is paying for the Katrina cleanup? Who will be pouring the cash into the pockets of the 'devastated' energy industry?

And a one, and a two.... (Sing IT!!!!) Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill the Poor!...

You want descriptions? Get a dictionary. Better go waste time reading the news or play some games on Yahoo or MSN or some shit like that.
