There are some great equalizers in life. Traffic jams are one of them. No matter how much you spent on your car, or how much debt it cost you, no matter if you're wearing Channel or rotty cutoffs when you're stuck in traffic it's all the same. The uber-expensive and the shitbox, side by side - in fact as long as the seat springs aren't poking you in the ass, the A/C moderately works and you have some tunes to play then it really doesn't matter if you're on vinyl or kid glove leather. Stuck is stuck.
I commute, and this constitutes a significant portion of my life. There's a certain Zen to it all, locked in an exitless stretch, creeping along... here we are, in our little compartments, coexisting.
Is this a definition of a successful society? After all we are all getting along...
You want descriptions? Get a dictionary. Better go waste time reading the news or play some games on Yahoo or MSN or some shit like that.
