Faker News: Believing Social Media Over Conventional Media

Long ago I read a study that hypothesized that a person is more likely to believe an obvious lie when they hear it "first hand". This is the premise that won Dickhead the election and he continues to exploit: utilizing social media as a vehicle to spread lies and confusion to discredit agencies who actually have rules and standards

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Disguised Russian agents on Twitter rushed to deflect scandalous news about Donald Trump just before last year's presidential election while straining to refocus criticism on the mainstream media and Hillary Clinton's campaign, according to an Associated Press analysis of since-deleted accounts.[..]

AP's analysis illuminates the obvious strategy behind the Russian cyber meddling: swiftly react, distort and distract attention from any negative Trump news.

I don't think it needs to be said but let's state the obvious: Dickhead Donald has no morals or standards, he will say whatever he thinks will get him what he wants. But it doesn't stop there, all the tRumpanzees who scream and yell about the news are gleefully swallowing the poison from non-US entities who use social media to conceal their identities and goals. Simply put: if you chose to listen to facebook and twitter to decide who to vote then you're: a) fucking stupid and b) a ruski stooge.
