Denise Withee dumped nearly two dozen dogs in an Iowa corn field. All but three were dead and those died a short time later. They died of neglect, heat exhaustion and dehydration.
Who was this awful woman who was dumped dog carcasses to be found by an unsuspecting farmer? She was in "the business of buying and selling dogs". Obviously the dogs she left dead and dying in the corn field had made enough puppies and money for her and outlived their usefulness. And this was not the first time she had done something like this. And she had a half dozen more unhealthy dogs with her when she was found.
These are the kinda of breeders that sell those cute puppies to the Mall pet stores. Moral to the story? Adopt a "second hand" dog from a shelter or pound. If you must have a pure breed dog - go directly to a reputable breeder. Visit that breeder and see how the dogs live. Lastly, spay and neuter you pets - this world needs no more un-wanted animals
