Self-Censorship
Know what I hate? Self-censorship. (You may have guessed from the title of the post.) Specifically, the way some people online will say things like "That's f*cking hilarious!" or "I don't give a sh*t."
What's the point? If you want to swear, just do it. If you don't want to swear, or if the site you're on censors posts, then come up with some alternate wording. But self-censoring is ridiculous. Everyone knows what the word is (though it can take a little more effort if you go overboard and say something like "m**********r"), anyone who's going to get offended is still offended, and you look like an idiot.

To be honest, I don't understand the problem with cursing. My dad cussed in front of me for most of my life. I knew the words, and because my parents raised me right, I knew not to use them.... at home :D
Let's be honest here. Even discounting online activity, people do this self censorship in person too. poo-poo. Crap. Darn. Shucks. It's all bullshit. everyone knows what you WANT to say. Even your kids. I know that, by 3rd grade, those words had already shown up in the mouths of nearly the entire class whenever a parent or teacher wasn't around.

There are some people that are not into all the words.
