World of Suck

Not surprised this is in Florida. My parents live in Florida and I have a fair amount of family in Florida. My cousins are about as dumb as stumps - and you can't blame their parents because they are fairly bright business owners. I also have been a bit underwhelmed by the intelligence of the teens that live in my parents' subdivision, particularly when compared to the kids of co-workers (I live in the northeast). I can only conclude that the educational system in Florida needs help and a lot of it.

Butt Monkey is far to polite a term. I'm iffy on putting 'scientific theory' in the standard because it might give the wrong impression, but it's precise and it's across the board, so it makes it clear that evolution is on the same level as relativity and gravity.

As for academic freedom, she should try academic HONESTY first. They're all over standards when it imposed creationism on students, but give them a dose of strictly defined scientific principles, and all of the sudden they want fucking freedom.

No. You lose. Sorry bitch. The school board requested that a team of scientists create a proposal. That's scientists, as in "they know more about science than your ignorant ass". The school board, that is, your elected officials reviewed it, modified it slightly and accepted it. Get the fuck over it. You fucking LOST.

I'm sorry the courts have bitch slapped you. I'm sorry the media laughed at you. I'm sorry the facts don't line up with your myopic world view. And I'm sorry you want your child to suffer through life with a crippled education.

But you FUCKING LOSE Ronda.

Science isn't about giving all sides equal treatment. Science gives you the treatment you earn through evidence. If you have no evidence, you get no treatment. We don't give you time just because you cry loudly. Shut the fuck up and get back in your hole.

Oh, and seriously, get a hair cut, buy new clothes and join the new millennium. Because your style died in the 80s. While your at it, maybe try to crack open a book and learn something about science before you try to comment on it.

After looking at some other information on her - she is an army brat that claims roots in her county that go six generations back - something rather unusual in Florida. So, she's had that benefit of education outside the horrific Florida system that she now wants to make even worse by watering down science. But she is also "cracker" enough to think it's right.
